If you require a more extensive restoration than a crown or have more than one tooth that needs to be repaired, a good solution is a dental bridge. Dental bridges are either fully ceramic or made of a metal base fused with porcelain, which makes them hard-wearing and look more like real teeth. A bridge helps to strengthen the prepared teeth and makes chewing and eating easier because they are fixed and can't come out.
Some bridges can also be fixed to your jaw with dental implants, if you have several teeth next to each other that are missing.

Dental crowns are used to build broken or decayed teeth and can be used to improve the cosmetic appearance of a tooth. We offer a range of crowns which include:
Metal Ceramic Crown
These are made from a metal interior or base to which a porcelain crown is fused.
This type of crown is robust, long-lasting and normally cheaper than fully ceramic crowns. However, there can be cosmetic issues with metal ceramic crowns and the metal base can appear dark/grey at the gum line.
Full Gold Crowns
These are the strongest and longest lasting crowns. This type of crown requires the least amount of tooth preparation and can last for up to 40 years or more. The disadvantage is the colour as many people would prefer a tooth-coloured crown.
All Ceramic Crowns
These are cosmetic crowns made purely from ceramic. There is no metal base so no dark or grey line at the gum margin. They are strong, long lasting and extremely aesthetic.
Dental veneers are wafer thin yet incredibly strong and durable porcelain laminates. They will function as a normal tooth meaning you can continue to bite, chew and enjoy all your favourite foods without worrying about the consequences.
